James Iles
@jamesiles
A cool new perk for Domain Pro members is coming.
Next week, Domain Pro members will get an email with their first $20 monthly Auctions credit. That'll repeat monthly.
We're stacking more into Domain Pro with more on the way!

It was worth it before, with just the discounted pricing and
@DNAcademy
tools.
Starting in November, it's a no-brainer.
#2️⃣ Something strange afoot

@synozeer
I've noticed auctions on
@NamecheapCEO
that people have won but then are cancelled a day later and appear on Dropcatch. What's going on with those domains?

Something strange is going on at
@Namecheap
.
Not sure what it is, because it's hard to get the story straight from their team.
Just wanted to make sure you were aware, as you might have noticed something similar but not realized others are noticing it too.
#3️⃣ Interesting .com data
Amit Gupta
@Yibecoder
Yesterday’s data offers a clear snapshot of how active the .com space still is. Out of 75,702 clean .com drops (no numbers, no hyphens), 11,502 were registered within 12 hours a 15% pickup rate that suggests steady, sustained interest rather than hype.
About 9,500 of those names were caught almost instantly, showing that drop-catching systems and investors continue to prioritize .com over newer extensions when it comes to liquidity and familiarity.
The data highlights a fiercely competitive landscape, fueled by automated systems and investors racing to secure quality names the moment they drop. It underscores a clear trend: .com isn’t just maintaining its relevance it’s gaining momentum, attracting faster registrations and more focused attention than ever before..

Automated drop-catching is alive and well.
#4️⃣ Secret hack?
𝒟𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓀
@derkolstad
Godaddy doesn’t want you to know this secret hack. 🤫
If you want a domain (reg. on GoDaddy) but can’t find the owner and don’t want to pay a broker for outreach…
Do it for FREE + TRACK delivery:
1. Setup a free streak(.)com account
2. Add extension to Chrome or Safari
3. Compose a draft w/tracking on
4. For the recipient address, put:
“domain
[email protected]
”
Replace ‘domain’ with the one you want. (replace extension too if it’s a .co or alt)
That forwards to their primary Godaddy email address.
Streak tools in the sidebar will show if it’s been read.

"Your domain must have been expensive"
Fun fact: I bought our .com with my own money *BEFORE* I raised $3M
Here's how I landed our .com, how much it cost, AND why you should never trust GoDaddy brokers:

Not so much a secret hack, but good to know (or a good reminder).

Hey
@atomHQ
you left some white space on the page, we could probably fit at least 5-6 more status updates on there

Oren is funny as heck. Funny because it's true.
Now go make some memes so I can promote you in my next newsletter.
