Patience in domaining is overrated
It is one of the thing often thrown about in domaining talks.
About being firm on pricing
Of course you won't get a $10 Million sale unless you rejected a $1M offer
But you aren't getting a $10K sale by rejecting a $3.5K offer
Take that $3.5K, have a nice steak dinner and reinvest the rest
It is far easier to convert 3.5K to 10K than the name you are trying to hold on, just because, patience..
Here is the thing about patience. You don't ever have to be patient
Here is how I converted $10K in initial investments to where I am today in just 5 years
If you are willing to pay $200 for a name, you should never have to wonder if you are going to renew it.
It should be a name you are willing to Auto-renew without thinking.
Do the thinking before you make the purchase, not at the time of renewal
When you have a 1000 such names, most of them will not have any inquiry, and not having inquiry is not a great way to assess if you want to renew a name.
It will only give you gastritis
You don't want to patient about any particular name
Just wait for BIN, and take any reasonable offers as long as they can bring 4-5 equivalent names in the current wholesale aftermarket
5 names is always better than 1 as long as they are of equal quality, regardless of whether one had an offer.
Besides you ARE taking the offer.
If you are not, it is the same as YOU buying that name again for that Offer amount.
If you get a 3K offer on a 10K name.
Say, You have the skills to buy the names similar to the 10K name for $500
Would you rather buy 5 similar names with 3K or buy the same name for 3K?
